Digital & online homework resources available from home:

Online Homework Help
Pima County Public Library (PCPL) has an agreement with Tutor.com to offer students one-to-one homework help with a certified tutor in real time.  This service would otherwise cost you $35 per hour, but is free through the PCPL website from 3:00pm to 10:00pm everyday-(including weekends and holidays).  To access Tutor.com, simply go to the library’s home page at http://www.library.pima.gov and click on “Learning Tools” (center of the page), and then “Online Homework Help”.  Your initial session may require installation of Microsoft Silverlight to enable interaction with the Tutor.

Databases
Many library resources have been replaced by digital versions-(databases).  These are not online, but are paid subscriptions that offer a plethora of information on a variety of topics of interest to students and to adult patrons who aren’t students.  To see an alphabetical listing of topics, go to the library home page at http://www.library.pima.gov.  Click on “Research & Resources”, then on “Online Databases”.  To access the databases you will need a library card and pin number.
